BBC highlights Sanisa's initiatives for underprivileged women
A team from BBC visited Shrimad Rajchandra Gyan Ashram to shoot a documentary on Sanisa. Adrienne Murray from BBC reported how Sanisa provided underprivileged women access to employment and the opportunity to earn. Murray highlighted the plight of rural women and Sanisa's fight for gender equality and female empowerment.

Kindling entrepreneurial dreams in rural India
"Mother's tension has eased out," says 18-year-old Karuna Chavan from Nanose village in Raigarh district, about two-and-half hours from Mumbai.
Kneading the dough and rolling out paper-thin methi, moong dal and nanchni khakras, Chavan says that since the last three years, her daily income of about Rs. 80 is a blessing for her six-member family.

Privileged are those who support the less privileged at Chaakri. Chaakri means 'seva' in Hindi. The small organization Chaakri has a registered office at S N Road and a distribution depot at N S Road, opposite to Navbharat High School, Mulund West, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
