Armed with a bright academic record and a Master’s program in business administration, Ms. Simi Thapar’s life was cut out for a corporate career. Not surprisingly, she did phenomenally well and diligently worked her way up the corporate ladder to reach the position of Senior Vice President with First Leasing Company of India Limited.
But Ms. Thapar’s horizons extended beyond corporate concerns to spirituality and social welfare activities. Besides being a business leader, she also qualifies as a humanist. Driven by the passion to do follow the instructions of her Master, she took a plunge into community service by being at the helm of every activity of Sa-Ni-Sa since its inception. Ms. Thapar has seamlessly merged her business insights with welfare activities and has been instrumental in formation of the society and since thereafter in planning, executing training sessions for rural women and is actively involved in day-to-day affairs of Sa-Ni-Sa. Her active participation and innovative thinking has opened new vistas for Sa-Ni-Sa and has enabled the organization to support sustainable empowerment for needy women. Her unstinted dedication and hard work has seen many dream projects become a reality.
